From soil to seed to harvest—we care a heck of a lot about our ingredients at every stage—it’s how we take care of you. So when we went searching for a pine pollen that fit our standards, we found ourselves all the way up North—at Canadian Pine Pollen Co.

Location
British Columbia
Our pine pollen is wild-harvested in the forests of British Columbia—and its short but time- and labor-intensive harvest starts as farmers walk the forests handpicking catkins (male pine cones) from the ends of the branches.

Ingredient
Pine Pollen
Pine pollen cells have two layers—inner and outer—the outer is what protects the nutrients in the cell from light damage and oxidation.
How they do it
Cracked Shell
This “industry standard” exposes the inner cell to light and air and drastically reduces the amount of nutrients.
How we do it
Whole Shell
Our practices keep the outer cell layer intact, which protects the nutrients from light damage and oxidation (aka, why ours is so nutrient-rich).
Instead of using typical high-heat sterilization that burns off nutrients, our pollen goes through a process that naturally draws out moisture while keeping all the good stuff intact.
Once dried, the raw pollen is frozen right on the farm, locking in every bit of nutrients.
Keep it local, keep it real
By partnering with local farmers and harvesters to handpick the pollen, Canadian Pine Pollen Co. brings job opportunities to the community—just another reason why we’re so proud to be working with people like this.

Good ingredients matter. Who farms them, where they're grown, and what makes them better.
